In performing this role, you must be knowledgeable of a wide range of business types and issues and be able to relate effortlessly to everyone, from major corporations to sole entrepreneurs. Your communication and government relations skills must also be exceptional as you will be called upon frequently to advocate for legislation and regulations that help businesses grow and prosper.
Ideally, you have an understanding of Halifax’s current economic and social climate and recognize the issues that impact the growth of our city and well-being of its residents.
